*The connection via Bluetooth is generally the easiest. It is best to first check whether your device has a Bluetooth MIDI connection. Then you don’t need to buy an extra cable. Alternatively, you can get a Bluetooth MIDI adapter if your device has MIDI connections.

Via Bluetooth[edit]

Switch on your MIDI device and activate the wireless function.

Open the Bluetooth settings in the system settings on your PC.

If you are connecting your MIDI device for the first time, click on the “Add Bluetooth or other device” button at the top.

Now you only have to select the corresponding device and the connection is established.

Via MIDI[edit]

If your device has MIDI connections, you need a MIDI-to-USB interface:

If you have a PC with a USB-C port (e.g. Apple PCs), you also need an adapter like this:

Via USB[edit]

If your device has a USB-B port, you will need a USB-A/B cable.

For an Apple PC, you need a USB-C/B cable like this:

*If your PC does not recognise the device, you may need software, which is provided free of charge by the manufacturer of your device on the relevant website.
